Vince Hooper claims to be an "expert" on international finance. There is nothing else in his bio to show that he has the right to anything but an opinion on this subject. His opinion, like most others, will have no influence on how Netanyahu and Israel protect themselves from Islamist terrorists patrolled by Islamist countries.

In my opinion, which will also be ignored, is it is well past the time that the West hopped in with boots on the ground support of Israel, instead of, in the case of Australia, importing the same Islamists to demonstrate their hate of Israel and try to dictate foreign policy to our gutless politicians.

Blinken's main purpose is to try and prevent the war spilling over into a full-scaled war between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Yes, a united Israel could eventually "win" against Hezbollah, but only with heavy losses and tremendous destruction... not that Israel is presently united in any way.
Hezbollah alone (let alone Iran) have around 200,000 missiles pointed at Israel, many of which can reach anywhere within Israel and break through fortified shelters, including my family's there - while Israel, even with the best and most accurate air-defence systems in the world, does not have anywhere near that number of interceptors.
