Coal should be phased out as soon as practicable so we can eventually get back to the Goldilocks 280 ppm CO2 not the current 420. The climate is not our friend these days with 50C temps in India and southwestern Australia facing chronic water shortages. The replacement for coal is nuclear.

The proposal to truck liquid CO2 from a coal station and inject it into the artesian basin is daft. In physical terms I doubt it would make much difference to either water quality or the atmosphere. The aim must have been greenwashing or subsidy seeking.

It's all about the “stupidity of this generation of Australians”.

On target. Since the introduction of Multiculturalism into Western thought (and actions), dating back only to post WW11, we have become as blue bottles floating on the ocean currents and pushed anyways by the whim of the wind!

Well, blowing yourself up to reduce the numbers & (& their own) who don't share your ghost stories is debatable however, Christians doing the same thing for the same reasons goes to show how stupid people on all sides are. When people believe that two wrongs will end up making a Right then why do the thinking people bother at all ?
I suppose it's got something to do with thinkers just being better humans ! Believers are the cause of the problems & the indoctrinated believe they're thinkers !
