We are appalled by the way that Taliban treat Women and Girls in Afghanistan. In our own back yard before the 'White Man" arrived, a similar situation applied and sad to say, particularly in the NT, in many areas a similar philosophy still applies. Likewise, the idea of headship is prevalent in some of our Christian communities.

Unless we can change these attitudes we have no hope of lowering the abuse of our women.
