Why the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide is only one piece of the puzzle : Comments

By Brett Wild, published 22/4/2024

PTSD is an accepted medical condition just like any other that a person could be diagnosed with – so why is the government allowing insurance companies to deny claims as though these families aren't plagued by real illness?

Yes, why! If the government won't act, then nobody should volunteer to serve! Indeed, become one and all. conscientious objectors.

The government has no problem putting you in harm's way, but a world of problems supporting you when you return, permanently harmed!

A feature supported by the horrendous suicide rate. No question.

At the next election ask your intending reps their position and vote only for that who supports all our harmed veterans/ex-service personal. And that (ask them) requirement should apply to all ex-service personal/returned veterans/ex-service personal!

And all in it together, we could decide who governs!

All wars result in some permanently harmed soldiers. It was once called battle fatigue, or even cowards' in the face of the enemy! And their "treatment", a firing squad!

Enough already!
