Rudd should never have been sent to the U.S in the first place.

Albanese (“my word is my bond”) said that he would not appoint Rudd. Then, he appointed Rudd.

Significant Labor ex-politicians, and anonymous serving ones, loathe Rudd, as any half-decent person does.

I hope Trump is the next U.S President, and he declares Rudd as a persona non grata.

Rudd never had the personality nor manners for diplomacy. He is the antithesis of a diplomat.

Yes, Rudd should never have been given the post. Too many pollies are given lucrative (jobs for the boys) post politics, jobs/positions. Positions that should been advertised and given to the most able applicant.

That said, Donald Trump will never win the presidency, but end his days in the Psychiatic ward of a federal prison.

I believe the next government, hopefully the coalition should void the position and appoint someone from outside politics, who knows how to stay out of another country's domestic politics.

If Trump gets imprisoned the whole world gets to see how corrupt the system is that let Trump do his thing for so long. For the sake of World stability Trump should get in for a term so his VP can take over towards the end of his first term.
To nail Trump now would be the greatest mistake & the greatest threat to the US ever. The Left waited too long & now face a greater dilemma than if they'd served him with fewer & more realistic charges earlier.
People so easily forget that this is not a Trump vs Biden issue, it's a battle for survival of common sense threatened by ill-logic ! Are Ukraine & Palestine & Taiwan not opening any eyes ?

Cited Farage and Bolt, but missed one or two others eg. Bannon and emergent Lee Anderson in UK?

Comments miss Alexander Downer UK High Commissioner pre Brexit and met with Trump-Russian campaign's Papadopoulos, with related behaviour comms that was described by Turnbull in the Lowy Centre's Interpreter as a 'sackable' offence.

Further, Tony Abbott who claims to support Ukraine, but like his advisor is allegedly employed or linked to the Danube Institute* in Budapest, partnered with Koch's Heritage Foundation**, where they liaise with Quadrant's European correspondent and former Thatcher aide John O'Sullivan; supported by a government foundation of PM 'mini Putin' Orban.

Called out by Anne Applebaum* who knows the players personally, while 'Never Trumper' Bill Kristol** has called out Heritage:

'Heritage Foundation and Viktor Orbán are not simply against aid for Ukraine. They are against Ukraine. They hate Ukraine, because a) they’re pro-Putin, and b) they hate liberal democracy, especially one fighting to defend itself against a brutal dictator.' (Twitter, 10 Dec '23)

Abbott's advisor cannot help praising Farage, UKIP now Reform, while Farage (ignoring his glib public denials) was allegedly linked with Russians, and Assange too?

From Pekka K's Finnish research team at Vatnik Soup on Farage, this is just the introduction:

'He's best-known for his prominent role in the Brexit campaign, and for his bootlicking of Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.'

I just heard on the news that the financial fines against Trump have been reduced to a slightly more realistic level. An intelligent Judge who can see past the Leftist insanity by any chance ?
Someone who can foresee the risks to society ?
