Silent invasion: unmasking China’s espionage war in Australia : Comments

By Mamtimin Ala, published 20/3/2024

The aggressor? China, whose tentacles of influence, infiltration and espionage have reached deep into Australian soil, threatening the very core of our democratic values and national security.

People are slowly waking up to the fact that we don't hear any criticism of China these days from the Albanese government. Albanese himself and Wong hardly mention China. They appear to regard the Communist Dictatorship as just a normal country to trade with and be matey with. They think Tik Tok is just a bit of fun for the kids, and won't ban it because they are “independent” from America, which is our greatest ally, not New Zealand, as that nitwit Senator Don Farrell claimed yesterday.

A visit from the Communist Chinese Foreign Minister is an insult to us, including people who have escaped here from his vicious country.

Albanese thinks that cosy chats with Dictator Xi every now and again will stop China’s spying and theft of information, private, commercial and intelligence.

I wonder how long that ratbag, Keating, would last if he lived amongst the Communists, and spoke about how “hard” China was on Australia.

“ ….our resolve as a nation”? I don't think we have any: particularly under the Albanese regime; and who knows what the Dutton opposition thinks.

While the Albanese regime is “concerned” about its own countrymens’ so- called misinformation, they lap up Communist Chinese lies like the little puppy dogs they are. Puppy dogs where Communist China is concerned, but bullies in Australia.

Uyghur Australians are under threat. We don't know how many Chinese Australians are under threat, and Albanese doesn't want to know.

Albanese has already surrendered in the ‘grey war’ against China. And, thanks to the laxity in defence of both the Coalition and Labor, we would not last a week in a shooting war.

This is not new news, but something most thinking Australians have been aware of for some time. As our so-called leaders toady up to the Chinese. Let them into our real estate market and invest in iconic brands.

What can one buy in hardware or durables, that is not made in China? All because we want to mine, use and sell coal and gas.

Coal and gas exports that may create as much as 40% of global warming.

We can export vastly more energy, but not as fossil fuels, but a raw electricity, exported via undersea cables.

Power generated as vast geothermal projects in our arid inland or as MSR thorium/MSR nuclear waste burners, burning mostly unpent fuel we are paid to take!

We could make the steel mirrors for vast inland solar thermal projects if we had affordable electricity, ditto the graphene laced copper wire production we'd need in the transmitting undersea cables.

And that power source is indisputably MSR thorium/MSR nuclear waste burners, which by the way, will also burn weapons grade plutonium! What? You'd sooner leave in the weapons?

Mike Burgess of ASIO was trying to alert Australians to foreign interference by Chinese bagmen in Federal Parliament. How too many of our politicians from both sides of politics take PRC Chinese money rather than stand up for Australia.

But both sides of politics didn't want to know - 2 weeks after
ignoring ASIO our politicians' snouts were back in PRC troughs.

A better reference to the Foreign Interference Transparency Scheme than the raw Act is on the AUSTRALIAN FEDERAL POLICE

website at http//www.afp.gov.au/crimes/espionage-and-foreign-interference#about-this-crime-type which states in part:

[Foreign Interference] criminalised includes: covert and deceptive or threatening activities by persons intending to interfere with Australia’s democratic systems and processe

"Foreign interference is an activity carried out by or on behalf of a foreign government [mainly China in Australia]

The activity may be coercive, threatening, deceptive or clandestine.

It undermines Australia's sovereignty, values and national interests.
Foreign interference activity may be used to:

• influence a political or government process

• influence the exercise of an Australian democratic or political right

• support the intelligence activities of a foreign government

• prejudice our national security.

...To be a crime under the Criminal Code Act, foreign interference must be linked to a foreign government or its proxy (also known as a foreign actor).

Threats in our communities [like Uyghur Australians]

Some foreign governments threaten our culturally and linguistically diverse communities. [like Uyghur Australians]

They [China] do this to inflame tensions in the Australian community and advance their own interests.

[Like the author, the AFP advises] "Such foreign interference in the community may include:

• harassment

• surveillance

• intimidation

• other coercive measures.

It's done to silence, monitor, harass, co-opt or coerce individuals, as well as broader community groups."

Foreign state actors [like Chinese businessmen working for the CCP] can target religious, political or ethnic communities.”

Watch out Labor, Liberal and National Party politicians in the pay of China. You are on ASIO and AFP lists. It might take years to bring you to justice...or just turn yourselves in, rather than stew in guilt!
