Great progress has been made in the international protection of human rights. Perhaps it is now time to go to the next step: create a parallel set of human responsibilities or duties.

A convention of human obligations would be ignored more than the one on human rights is.

Time, we did more than just sign international declarations but enact our own bill of irrevocable human rights!

Currently we're saddled with personal responsibility every which way, but do not have our rights enshrined in law.

We are granted privileges on the whim and caprice of the (a) government/politician and or the judiciary/beak. Who are said to be guided by convention/precedent.

Would you not agree that the average citizen/resident leaves even more to be desired than the average politician or anyone in authority ?
