Although it is not applicable to the Australian situation this American outfit very much intends to impose its benighted version of Christian "morality" and culture on to every aspect of US culture. It is supported by at least 72 deep (money) pockets so called conservative Christian outfits, think tanks, etc some/many of which have links to right-wing Christian groups in Australia.
http://www.project2025.org The much vaunted new outfit the Alliance For Responsible Citizenship is to one degree or another committed to the same toxic vision promoted by the 2025 project. One of its advisors is the new Speaker in the US House of Representatives. Posted by Daffy Duck, Friday, 3 November 2023 1:37:07 PM

We all know the political settlement in Australia. The freebies for the religious increase, in inverse proportion to their numbers. Under God Squad Albanese, these unwarranted entitlements are safer than ever.

Dear Meg, . I forgot to indicate in my previous post that Jacque Monod's definition of life figures in his 1970 book entitled “Chance and Necessity” (“Le Hasard et la Nécessité”), which is why I explained that “chance, in this context, means a “random variable” and necessity an “inevitable” event”. Sorry about that. . Posted by Banjo Paterson, Friday, 3 November 2023 10:46:47 PM

The test of any moral proposition is “Does it aid or hinder survival?” If it does not aid survival, then it hinders survival because it consumes Resources. . Posted by Banjo Paterson, Saturday, 4 November 2023 10:11:14 PM
