By David Singer, published 20/10/2023

A democratic State of Palestine has proved to be an illusion incapable of being realised.

What the UN "owes" the world is disbandonment of its rotten self.

The UN is a tool in the hands of China, helping achieve its aims of global control and dominance of U.S. interests similarly aligned for the moment.

Only a blind cave dwelling troglodyte would miss the treacherous hand of the US in the current conflict between Israel and it’s troublesome Arab neighbours, without repeating the known causes of latest mile stone in madness, further than just the mention of the US meddling policy of their Iranian realignment debacle.

This author is correct to conclude any permanent solution outside of proposing a Gaza National Park is now unworkable.

Just another devastating US meddling war underway which should have been avoided.

- There might be another solution on the horizon, it's called Jihad.

Jew-hatred?
You just went and kicked an own goal there.
There will be plenty of Jew-hated going around now after Israel's reprisal attacks.
I've never seen so many dead kids in a single week, and this footage will be online FOREVER.

Part of all this is your fault David.
- For proposing a solution that gave the Palestinians nothing except kicking them out.

I posted this on the other thread but I think it is appropriate here,

Interesting article but he did not cover the one point that makes
any two state solution impossible.
When the Arab Islamic armies conquered Israel in the 6th century they
held it I think uninterrupted until the Ottomans took over.
So the area was under Islamic ownership until the League of Nations
and then the UN granted the British a mandate over the area and that
was when the troubles started.
Under Islam land once held by muslims becomes Islamic land forever,
Therefore a two state solution would mean that moslims to agree would
have to defy Allah to allow some of that land to be held by Jews.
The Jews by the way lived there for some thousands of years.
In the Koran of course the Jews are held to be the worst of People.
So anyone who thinks they can solve this has a battle on his hands.

Dear Bezza,

Two state solutions would necessarily be volatile.

An ongoing war between the two can hold them together - as at present,
but two states at peace? No, I don't think it is possible.

This is why we must instead consider 3, 4 or 5-state solutions.

Regarding Muslims and the issue you mentioned, only SOME Muslim fundamentalists believe in that literally, and these are also the same Muslims who try to force other, liberal Muslims, to isolate their women etc.

Fundamentalist Muslims make liberal Muslims suffer, so they should no be forced to live together. At present, only the war with Israel keeps them together.

Also, even the Quran states that one should liberate the land that once was Muslim only if they are strong, only if they actually can.
Thus stability can be achieved if you separate liberal and fundamentalist Muslims, each in their own smaller and weaker country.

Same goes for the Jews: liberal Jews may even be able to live together with liberal Muslims, but not with their own Jewish fundamentalists, not if there is to be peace.

“ There might be another solution on the horizon, it's called Jihad“

Oh is that right.

I’ll predict the outcome of that one!

Start from the premise Israel was always destined to fail; and accepting inevitably that not much in history will support any chance of longevity. Start there!

The Gaza:

Israel appears to be following a military strategy of non advancement.
That is very smart.
Every forward step thins out their small manpower forces.

An early justification from the local area and modern history, is the success of the British forces under Montgomery in North Africa 1945 ( close enough).
Dig in and defend requires less investments and sacrifices.

A long term siege of Gaza, for which Israel is well positioned to win comfortably with patience, to win.
As an alternative to Navel assets sitting unused in dock, they can be comfortably deployed off the Gaza coast.

And a retreat strategy is also straight forward if all the chips fall.
An organised removal of eight million Jews into global diasporas, one nuclear destination over Tehran, and last man out detonates another over Jerusalem.

They’ll be an end to arguing over that little historic hotspot for some time into the future!

The next sentence is 100% applicable to the collective deeply psychotic lunatic asylum of Israel/Palestine and the Middle East altogether.

"The traditions of all the long-ago dead generations weigh like a nightmare on the brains and hearts of living in this time and place."

Meanwhile there is the distinct possibility that this hell-deep conflict will be the catalyst for world war III.
