Agree with most of this, save the energy transition needs to be nuclear, i.e., carbon free MSR thorium and energy prices as low as 3 cents PKWH.

Thereby allowing Kurdistan to sell electrical energy to neighbours as well as foster a homegrown organic manufacturing sector.

As an investment strategy, far more bang for the buck than much, much more expensive and intermittent renewables!

It could even kick start its own manufacturing sector by manufacturing mass produced, ready to rock and roll, modular thorium reactors and selling same to an energy starved world!

It's called, getting ahead of the investment curve as an investment pioneer!

I would never council investing in the current share market with algorithms in there f"ing it for all else, and another stack market crash is on the cards considering current state of world affairs.

Better to look for a fail-safe local solution with teeth! Can't lose with ultra cheap energy!
