Heavy-handed industrial relations intervention will choke productivity : Comments

Productivity means that phone calls are answered by robots rather than humans.
Productivity means that products only last 2-5 years.
Productivity means that products cannot be repaired, that if even one little bit of plastic is broken one is forced to buy a whole new product and throw away the old.
Productivity means that packaging takes more space than the product itself.
Productivity means that so much unneeded junk is added.
Productivity means that primary resources that are not low-lying are wasted.
Productivity means that workers cannot be happy, respected and proud of their work.
Lets do away with productivity and concentrate on quality instead!
Remember the good old days when we had less items, but one bread-winner's job was sufficient to feed a family comfortably?
