ACT government will resist royal commission calls : Comments

By Scott Prasser, published 23/5/2023

Exacerbating this reluctance is that the ACT government has in effect been in office for 21 years. It is therefore responsible for all that is both right and wrong with the current health system.

The ACT is an enclave the rest of Australia need not concern itself with.

Scottie: …The concertmaster for violins in the orchestra pit of the LNP.

And…you’ve given the answer to the question, why not a Royal Commission so close to an election?

Bad mistake it is, taking the enemy for fools; a sure way to lose a war.

Actually this article epitomises what is wrong with the health of Politics; it’s all such BS that ignores the pain of the masses, by those that have the most power to correct the faults, but don’t, since furthering their own causes has the top priority.

Herein is a less than disguised example!

A royal commission? Well, the Murdoch press has been around more than 21 years and there's a case that can be made for their endless and ongoing political manipulation.

The ACT may have a case to answer over health care but so does every other state. For mine health care should be the responsibility of the federal government alone and education left entirely to the states.

For far too long we've had this shared system where both sides can finger point and duck shove responsibility. And that needs to end before we waste taxpayers' money on pointless and very expensive reviews!
