As the new Captain of the 'Australia', I would promptly see the ship heading for the rocks financially and physically and take immediate remedial action by getting rid of anything we can't afford.

The old salty conservative has nothing to say about a trillion dollars of Liberal Party debt, and $20 billion a year in interest to service that debt, and nothing to show for it. What about the billions given to the French for non existent submarines! Nothing to say about hundreds of billion earmarked to pay the Pied Piper (America) for their rubbish nuclear subs to threaten the Chinese with. Nah, its all down to LABOR!

I think you know billions was poured into the pockets of the 'Big End of Town" with the objective of boosting profits, paying executive bonuses and topping up dividends for shareholders.

There was a few crumbs splashed around for a Christmas Box for the undeserving, like aged welfare recipes.
