It is becoming sadly more and more difficult in our failing world to distinguish between humans and machines. The more we "progress", the less you will be able to tell whether the person speaking with you on the phone or even behind a counter, is real. Computers can now even successfully imitate your friends' speech, then ask you to do things that you wouldn't otherwise, such as send them money or disclose personal information.

What you call "conspiracy theory" seems to be a deliberate agreement of Graham Young, this website's manager, to avail this forum to an experiment by one of the AI corporations and see over the years, how long it takes intelligent people to point out a robot.
