That way it actually just becomes one giant battery, that never runs out of water or power.

As for China, stop trying to create conflicts with them.
If the west respected the One China policy as it says it does, then you wouldn't go sailing military ships up the Taiwan strait, as under the One China policy that you claim to respect and support, you'd accept that the Taiwan Strait is Chinese territory.

I don't care how good for business creating conflicts is for the US so it can sell weapons as it has just done, or bolstering the US financial system, which it also uses to make wars on others.

As for China, the intention is to prevent a conflict. The people of Taiwan deserve to remain free from the corruption of the Chinese Communist Party. Xi needs to know he has more to lose from starting a war than he has to gain.

I did watch the video the first time. You seem to have failed to notice the water pipe does go down at the end (the gradient is quite gentle but the pipe is long) and a significant amount of water was pumped up into the tank to start with.
I know you'd like the water to go up not down, but as Scotty said:
