I think it was a good idea and all future terrorist leaders also targeted. The Taliban leaders also, until they stop their stone age persecution of Afghan females. Even if it takes a hundred years for the penny to drop!

I am repelled by the killing of al-Zawahiri by the USA for a number of reasons. First, he was not a citizen of the USA and he was not on USA soil at the time. This, together with the fact that he had not been convicted of a crime under USA law and he was not under the jurisdiction of the USA means that his killing was an international crime.
The USA has committed an international crime which will only have severe consequences for international peace.
The USA is not above international law - it may not like what an individual is doing but that does not give it the right to murder someone who is believed to be an international terrorist for reason which are never released.
Al-Zawahiris's associates now have a murder-given reason to continue their plotting against the west - the supposedly civilised west!!
