There has been almost zero coverage in the Australian media, but Papua New Guinea Prime Minister, James Marape, has been re-elected unanimously.

Not very interested who gets elected anywhere but here, given it's the only election I get a say in! How we might turn the PNG election into an advantage? Is beyond me! PNG is still a costly albatross around our collective neck and given their independence way too soon!

I'm not convinced that $1.2 Million/day to PNG were a less costly alternative to paying the Dole had PNG remained under Australian administration !
