I suppose it's the warming that ends up leading to ice-age. A bit like a refrigerator ;-)

All so true, the ice ages come and go but over very long periods.
The weather cycles that are short enough for our historians to notice
are in the time scale of 500 to 1000 years.
Those cycles are well known and can be seen in history.
A major error occurred regarding the current cycle which began with
the Maunder Minimum which was around 1800.
This happened about the time we started burning coal to make steam
for engines and to make cast iron and then steel.
As the earth's temperature increased through the 1800s and into the
1900s the assumption was that it was the burning of coal and oil that
was causing the rising co2 and therefore rising temperature.
It has been shown that burning coal Natural gas & oil has caused a
temperature rise of only 0.1 deg C.
The co2 generated by man is far less than that produced by nature.
The rest of the temperature rise is caused by the sun, sunspots,
cosmic rays and the resulting variation in cloud formation.

The enormous problem that has been caused by this blunder will end
up in political upheaval with a destroyed economy as impossible
attempts to reduce co2 emissions bankrupt companies and countries.
In about 50 to 100 years it will become obvious that the temperature
has ceased increasing and may show a decrease.

I won't be here to see it, so I'll say it now; I told you so !

Ah yes Individual, there is a surplus of stupidity !
Look at all those people who allowed the closed coal power stations
to be blown up !
Wouldn't you think someone would have said;
"Perhaps we should mothball them in case we need them ?"
But no the green dominated wanted to make sure we were committed to
wind and solar with no way back.
The stupid ones in a position stop the destruction just were incapable
of understanding what was going on.
The stupid ones in Victoria are preventing the use of natural gas that
is easily accessible and now suffer gas shortages and blackouts.
They really ARE that stupid !
