A ‘failed’ Papua New Guinea national elections would be a disaster for Papua and Australia : Comments

So far, even before voting starts, there have been 29 deaths which can be directly linked to the elections. It would be safe to say that many more recent deaths can be indirectly limited to the tensions the elections cause.

It is very worrying that PNG is so unstable as they may easily go the same way as the Soloman Islands with regards to China.This would be an absolute disaster for them and Australia in so many ways . It's too late for us once they get a foothold .

No matter what happens in PNG or elsewhere in the region, as far as the CCP goes, Australia is toast. Years of neglect of our defence by our moronic political class and the decline of our only hope, the US, since Ronald Reagan, has made us like a goat tied to a stake, bleating pathetically, waiting for the Chinese Communist Party to devour us.

And apart from being militarily unprepared, we look to be running out of electricity unlike China, which is enthusiastically burning coal to provide their power, and building new coal powered plants non-stop.

The controlling of PNG by China is already set in stone ! Many of us tried to warn them back in the early 70's not to let themselves get conned by ideologists from down-under, alas !
The bureaudroids/advisors etc sent there en-masse never pulled their fingers out either hence the state that PNG is in now !

I'm not sure what more we can do as we can't be seen to be running the election. Our helicopters and couple of hundred ADF personal is as far as we can assist, I believe.
