The kingdom has become an aggressive strategic investor in sports events, hosting Formula One motor racing, boxing events, purchasing European football clubs and promoting wrestling.

Russia is doing the same only more so. And has a much worse human rights record. As does China! Moreover, some sportspeople will compete wherever there is a big dollar! If a nation is so on the nose? Then why don't those folk place a universal boycott! They will say, it's not down to them to fix the human rights of the rogue nations! And that's right!

If we would send a message? It has to be with a trade embargo! And not doable as long as we need fossil fuels or China's production capacity!

And means we need to transition to MSR thorium nuclear power ASAP! to restart manufacture. Then electrify the nation's transport system, which has to include very rapid rail!

As long as we depend on these nations for anything we will not need any sportswashing emissary! Just a trade embargo, that'll change unacceptable behavior!
