Meanwhile why not check out the essay by Ali Kazak titled Israeli Apartheid. If it looks like a duck, walks and talks like a duck, it is a duck

Why not check a few facts, like the third largest political party in Israel is Arabic, and that Arabic Israeli citizens have joined in the condemnation of UN and Amnesty.

Jew hating amnesty, David? what a load of cobblers, horse feathers and bird's fur. Disingenuous, mendaceous bunkum and that's praising it! You are a Jew, David. And July and July, like there's no tomorrow!

I should have been a psychiatrist or a violin player: How I regret my wasted youth at times like reading this infernal and eternal ( it seems), whine…

"In 2021, Israel denied or left unanswered more than one-third of all applications to enter the West Bank or Israel for medical treatment unavailable in Gaza, including 38% of requests for minors and 24% of requests for people over 60. This was also true of 60% of requests for escorts, forcing patients to reapply or travel alone. Israel’s policy choices are responsible for the dearth of many vital forms of treatment in Gaza, yet it bars patients in need from care that is available mere miles away, often at a deadly cost."

Feel free to demonstrate specifically which facts listed in the report are wrong. Criticism of the actions of a State does not implicate all citizens of that State.
If it was some place like North Korea doing all these things they would be demonised and deemed to be a pariah state. Coincidentally I remember when Israel helped train South African security forces during the Apartheid era so they have no historical disapproval of the concept. Pauliar,
To compare apples with apples both Taiwan and South Korea have active social security systems whereas both China and India have pretty close to nothing. In both India and China the elderly have to live with their children or on the street. In China, there was roughly 2.5m homeless pre covid and the problem has only got worse. https://www.economist.com/china/2019/11/14/homelessness-has-become-a-problem-in-chinas-cities Posted by shadowminister, Wednesday, 16 February 2022 3:24:05 AM

"This Report fails to acknowledge that there has been an ongoing unresolved conflict for the last 100 years between the Jewish People and the Arab residents of former Palestine."
Great to see some improvement here: Formerly, till now, the author just used to say "the 100 year old Jewish-Arab conflict" - now he acknowledges that this "conflict" is only with certain Arabs, not all. He still uses the dirty name which the Romans gave to the land of Israel in order to insult and humiliate the conquered Israelis - which shows what his real attitude towards Israel and Jews is. One day hopefully the author may acknowledge that this "conflict" involves not only SOME Arabs but also only SOME Jews. One day he could also acknowledge that most of these "Arab residents" are themselves ethnically Jewish, thus what we see here is not "Apartheid" but a bad case of domestic violence and rivalry between brothers. Amnesty has become as bigoted and racist as the UN.

The UN and Amnesty are well past their use-by dates, both doing more harm than good. Australia’s continuing membership of the UN is just a lazy habit.
