Has China brought the silence of Pacific leaders on climate change? : Comments

By Jeffrey Wall, published 22/10/2021

What is significant about the statements by Pacific leaders, is that China has not been criticised despite incontrovertible evidence China is easily the greatest contributor to rising emission levels.

Well researched, erudite and educated commentary, Jeffery. Has China purchased silence? I venture to very strongly suggest, that is indeed the case?

And has the coal, gas and oil lobby purchased political, influence here and abroad? Or is some of the advocating for these fuels coming from advancing early dementia, alcoholic brain fog, lunacy or a fistful of fossil fuel dollars? Or, maybe a combination of all the foregoing? You be the judge! If the cap fits, tomato head?

If it quacks like a duck? Paddles like a duck and waddles like a duck? Then maybe we should think, coal and fossil fuels, in general, are not all they're quacked up to be?

Power generation needs to be taken back then reprivatised as employee-owned and operated co-ops only! Then we might see the long-needed emergence of a sanity driven, nuclear power industry, heavily reliant on MSR thorium and or nuclear waste burning MSR technology!? TBC.
