Most of those who die from COVID are killed by a cytokine-storm, where their own immune system attacks their lung cells.

The same can be said of terrorism.

It is not us, ordinary people, but governments whom terrorists try to threaten and blackmail - us, are just of no value to them.

So had government declared (and proved they mean so) that they do not care about us, ordinary people, that if terrorists blow us up then it's our tough luck, not theirs, so they won't interfere, then terrorists would soon stop wasting their time and energy attacking us, ordinary people.

Another thing that would help a lot is, that the media stops reporting terrorist attacks: what is not reported cannot produce terror!

As it stands, we pay the bulk of the price for the government's wars, some call it "human shields". Government of course, would lose no opportunity to restrict us, nor to try to present itself as our "saviours".

Faced with a growing terrorism problem from the Uyghur minority they took decisive action and forced the Uyghars to decide whether were Muslims or Chinese. I will say one thing for Muslims, Communists, and Fascists, they don't tolerate diversity at all. They know that diversity means division, and division means serious trouble. You are either one of them, or you are the enemy.

Now, if you knew anything about history, and especially the history of warfare, you would not be such a Muslimphile. All of the Middle East was largely composed of Christians, Jews, and Zoroastrians when Mohammad and his bunch of camel train raiding pirates swept out of Arabia and began attacking the Christian world. Mohammad had invented a new kind of warfare, the religious war, where what was essentially organised armed robbery became a religious duty, rewarded by earthly booty (slaves, girls, property) or lots of sex in heaven if you got killed.

Worked a treat. The Muslims took all of Christian north Africa, most of Spain, the Balkans, Greece, Constantinople and Anatolia, the Crimea and Ukraine, they got into France before they were stopped by Charles the Hammer. They got to the gates of Vienna twice. They got thrown back into the sea when they attacked Malta. From Malta their pirate ships could have dominated the entire Mediterranean sea.

Now when you have a successful way of fighting, you can bet your enemies will copy it. The crusades were the Christian equivalent of Jihad. They did not work because Europe was too divided to unite against a common enemy.

Today we face the same enemy we have faced for 1400 years who makes no bones about telling us that we are their enemy. And just like in the past the Europeans are divided and getting more diverse. As for Muslim advances into the West, you fail to mention the facilitating prior events.
Notably the sacking of Constantinople by the fourth Crusaders. A blow the Byzantine Empire was unable to recover from.
