Australia can make a compelling case given our historic association with Papua New Guinea, our enduring people-to-people relationship, and the fact we are easily the most generous aid contributor to our closest neighbour.

We trained more dentists under Joh? And still had the qualified dental and chest clinic nurses in nurse practitioner vans showing up at schools/rural villages etc! And because the leader of the libs and Vice Premier, Sir Gordan Chalk, was actually a qualified doctor who got it! And a good template for PNG!
