Yup. The VIP talking heads segments was more than a trifle overdone! And most of it could have easily been replaced by replays of events most of us didn't get to see!

Most of us wanted to watch the action, not speakers endlessly rabbiting on/talking about it! And being forced to endure the advertising breaks as well!

Or maybe, setting up the rubes for the parasitcal Bookies with their endless speculation and the commentator's curse, if you will?

I liked the games much better when the ABC was able to present them as a free to air, commercial-free option! But the defunding has eliminated that and indeed, many other enjoyable options!
