By Patricia Jenkings, published 10/5/2021

Notably the 2030 Agenda is the result of the most widespread consultation in the history of the UN and represented a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace, prosperity and equality.

The United Nations is a funk hole for the world's vicious deposits. Australia and other Western countries should have nothing to do with it.

Covid gave us a chance to behave as the brotherhood of man! And while a worthwhile worthy goal, little seems to have changed, particularly since the pollies all got their, I'm all right jack, jabs! And with a few notable exceptions were front and centre, first in the queue for the most effective vaccines!

The arrogant wealthy/lead in the economic saddlebags, will do all they can to maintain their unearnt, undeserved privileges and use statistics that never include them? To accept collateral damage, none more so than nation-states governed by the hard-right/power-hungry/addicted, mad, sabre-rattling dictators. Where the populace are just numbers/grist in the mill!

the headline is nice sentiments, but resisted by the usual suspects as the great unwashed go meekly to their allegorical slaughter with little more than the usual whimper!

Too many have died on this altar dedicated to the false god mannon and many more will need to be sacrificed before we stand as a united force that cannot be stopped!

The tragedy is, eliminating poverty in all its forms and guises, will do far more for the wealthy elite than anything else ever could! We live surrounded by abundance and wealth-creating opportunities. All that seems missing is, cooperative capitalism, comrades. And the inmates in current control, returned to their respective asylums!

Getting two humans to agree is hard enough. Getting 8 billion to agree is well nigh impossible methinks.
