ttbn, it really ...... me off about much of the garbage that emanates from the academic elite about equality and discrimination.

By all means highlights the flaws of our society, but don't forget to highlight the many wonderful achievements of liberal democracy.

maybe then better analysis can be produced rather than biased bs

Chris

While we bitch about just about everything these days because of uncertainties and loss of trust in our politicians, we should never forget that Australia still gives us benefits and freedoms that few other countries provide. We have to make sure that we guard them.

The losses we are supposed to have suffered by not toeing the CCP line are greatly exaggerated. There is a committee headed by a an ex-SA Senator that is quietly working away and getting new markets to replace the ones that Communist China has petulantly snatched off us, and it's working. They aren't making a big thing of it because they don't need any more aggressive outbursts from the CCP.

Although it will worry many people, I was very pleased to hear straight talk today from a senior defence official and the Defence Minister about the real threat of open warfare with Communist China following their increased activities against Taiwan. Nobody wants it, but people have to be jolted out of their belief that it will never happen.

... Australia still gives us benefits ....
ttbn,
Correction, a dwindling handful of responsible Australians ensure that the draining of our common sense is somewhat slower than anywhere else, that still enables this society's ungrateful masses to access undeserved benefits !
