The COVID crisis on our doorstep cannot be ignored : Comments

By Jeffrey Wall, published 4/3/2021

In PNG some key health indicators have been stagnant at best and gone backwards at worst. Infant mortality, the incidence of diseases such as malaria have increased. Even diseases that had once been conquered such as cholera have returned.

Any "special relationship" we had with PNG ended when they started playing with Communist China.

Interesting, but not very nice; as the saying goes.

I love the way this author has brought up Covid as some sort of boogeyman to frighten his fellow Australians. Covid is no worse than the common cold it's first cousin and the political cures levied on the West are a hundred times worse than the disease.
In Victoria we are now effectively a police State run by a sociopath!
Sixty per cent of people will not be troubled by this disease and a mortality rate of less than one per cent should frighten no one.
By all means assist our nearest neighbour but please put a sensible case not the usual scare mongering and outright lies.

Since it is abundantly clear that black people are incapeable of ruling themselves, why don't we just invade PNG and make it a colony of Australia again? PNG used to make Australia a profit but now because in "Independence" (actually total dependence) it is always in trouble and costs the good old Aussie taxpayer an arm and a leg every year.

If we made PNG a colony again, we could once again put an end to their tribal wars, enact good government, prevent them from killing "witches", and even make a profit doing so.

Of course, that would mean finally admitting that black people are not too bright and in this world where the fantasy of racial equality is flavour of the month, that would take some doing.

LEGO,
Don't blame black people for the PNG situtation, that was Whitlam's outfit who gave in to a handful of PNG power happies !
