Get real, Bazz, there must be a hundred ways for Sunni Islamists and Shi'ite groups like Hezbollah to get into the US or any other western country besides posing as 1000-mile central American hikers. They could pose as aid workers, medical staff, academics, tourists, etc., etc. - and very likely are doing just that, then laying low.

But posing as Central American peasants in their tight family groups, speaking Spanish, sounds a bit more difficult. Then trudging a thousand miles to a wall ? If they make it, of course they would be happy to 'Tear down this Wall !' But then, they have to get through the standard US entry requirements. Bugger it, why not just fly a plane into a building ? No ?

They fly to Mexico and just mix in with those getting through, there
are no border guards there, just over/under the wire.
When large batches go through they do not stay with them for long
they just separate and keep clear.
The coyotes arrange large batches and make an attack when they know

Why would the do that when they can just fly in on tourist or business visas!

Simple Alan many of them are known, so they cannot fly in.
If they are a newby they can fly in and it is known they are there
even if they are not tied to any particular group.
Coming over the border there is no record of them and no one will be
looking for expired visa holders.
