Encircling China and praising India: the US strategic framework for the Indo-Pacific : Comments

By Binoy Kampmark, published 19/1/2021

The authors of the Framework document are, in sharp contrast, barely troubled by Moscow and, surprisingly, sober on the issue.

One needs to look at "secret documents" released years earlier than one would expect? Need to be looked at with a jaundiced eye and taken with a grain of salt!?

That someone like Binroy gets his knickers in a knot over the same? Makes him the servile errand boy, doing the US's work for them?

Have a nice day Binroy and thank you for your service.

“The conflict mongers will be eagerly rubbing their hands”.

Interesting comment, but perhaps “mongers” are not needed. General, now Senator, Jim Nolan thinks that war between the US and China is more likely than people think.

While China is unlikely to attack Australia directly, we have to be aware that there would be collateral effects on us: any attack on Taiwan could not be ignored; there is our connection with the space warfare system (we are already subjected to daily cyber attacks from China). Most importantly for Australia, any China attack on Taiwan would involve moves against democractic states friendly to Australia.

It’s about time we started listening to real warriors instead of the armchair and media variety

ttbn,

You just said "While China is unlikely to attack Australia directly . . ."

What the hell are they putting in your lunchtime gruel?

Australia is at the top of the list of countries they want to invade. The enemy is already inside the gate and people like you still can't see the writing on the wall.

China doesn't need to attack anyone! The fruit loops, neo-Nazis, white supremists, the KKK and other terrorist organisations will do it for them as countries tear themselves apart from within?

And when the radicalised right-wing nut jobs have finished, all China need do is as, in Poland 1938, just virtually walk in and take over wherever they want to?

And able to walk in and take over, because we are too busy fighting each other for the crumps the corporations and their political lackeys leave us?

And as Mr O observes, the enemy is inside the gate? Many of who will be white? I mean, who are the folk with their hands out for serious Chinese money? Who dismantled manufacturing and country co-ops, sold our essential service and power generation whenever and wherever they could?

Fight the Chinese for this horribly divided nation? You're kidding? Right?

Ying tong, ying tong piddle li po, piddle li po.
