Human society and the biosphere : Comments

By John Avery, published 10/12/2020

As the greenhouse gas emissions of human society push the earth towards catastrophic climate change, rates of extinction in the biosphere will certainly become higher.

The big unanswered question with the renewables is if they are backed
up by batteries or hydro is when and how do you recharge them ?
If you discharge the battery from 4pm to 9am you need all that power
NOW to recharge the batteries.
If the sun is not clouded and the wind is blowing the power being
generated is committed to running the country.
Does that mean another complete set of wind and solar is required
to recharge the battery.
Catch 22; what if the next day (or 2) (or3) are overcast and windless ?

Anything from the United Nations should be treated with the utmost suspicion, particularly when it comes to the climate change/extinction/reset hoax.

"Rates of extinction today are as much as 1,000 times greater than the normal background rate".

I'll bet you won't see the lefty posters who are always trying to discredit their opponents squealing for 'evidence' for that claim. As long as some activist nitwit keeps saying 'catastrophic climate change' they are smug and happy.

"There is a danger that the 1.5 billion people who are undernourished today will not survive an even more food-scarce future".

And, why would that be a problem for the scaremongers? They are blaming humans for completely natural climate change. If they are capable of any logical thinking at all, they should be barracking for a reduction in humans - the more the better.

"Finally, if human society fails to curb its emissions of greenhouse gases, much of the earth will become so hot as to be uninhabitable…..".

Now, that is a bare-faced lie and an astonishing burst of hysteria from someone who appears to have lost his marbles.

This garbage is not worth reading any further.

John Avery is a "theoretical chemist" who produces wild theories.

Have to wonder what and how long it'll take to recover from the green marxism brainwashing of an entire generation or two.

It's not as if we haven't known! But have been sandwiched between competing ideological imperatives at the extreme ends of competing political advocates and their often insane political agendas?

One the one side green Luddites, terrified of mostly imagined outcomes, sort to ban the nuclear option in favour of making everything too dear for Joe average, while the other extreme is, I believe, addicted to fossil fuel and the personal returns this creates for them and their foreign masters. And shag the planet and humankind.

If there's any other logical, credible and cogent explanation?

Then it escapes me in favour of the above, as plain as the nose on your face, probable and plausible explanation. If you are willing to accept the above example outcomes?

Then just suck up the terrifying consequences! You have a triannual vote! And with it the power to change anything!

Instead, like most, you decided it was all too hard and just did what you've always done and wasted the power you do have! And means it's all on your head!

It's not like you weren't warned endless times, is it, Genius?
