And the end of the brainwashed from birth idea, that socialism is evil! And the same as communism! IT ISN"T!
Whereas some socialism is consistent with a richer, fairer society. That things like electricity generation should be rolled out as either the state-owned and operated model or as co-op business models (SMRs) that compete for market share.
Other than that we need to outlaw all the parasitical (the world owes us a living and free lunches) paper shuffling middlemen, who virtually double the cost of living or doing business.
We need to end the practices of politicians with vested interests in this or that technology/business model creating rules and regulations/laws that prohibit fair competition with their preferences! Example, the decades-long prohibition on nuclear and or MSR thorium! Given that would decimate the renewables industry!
A fit for purpose NBN would allow this to happen with the middleman distribution marketing model replaced by factory/generator direct sales. Also under the hammer needs to be smashed down on commission sales/debt-laden investors, both domestic and foreign! To be replaced by salaried salespersons/and a capacity to repay out of current incomes/earnings! To stop hugely inflated real estate bubbles etc!
Understand this much, the only free market, private enterprise model that survived the Great Depression largely intact were co-ops!
If putting people back to work is a worthy goal and it is! Then someone somewhere needs to act to fund and facilitate co-ops. As opposed to dismantling them, with a will, in favour of extreme capitalism and the aforementioned parasites! And a Presidential pardon for Donald Trump, with conditions. TBC.
