Climate change/polster failings are now secondary to the universal postal ballots in US 2020 election : Comments

By Charles Essery, published 11/11/2020

The 2020 US election may have damaged the global reputation of democracy more than anyone could have imagined.

Here's the thing. Most of if not all the claims of bogus or fraudulent postal votes are unfounded. However, if there's any verifiable evidence, there're legal remedies! Which Mr Trump can pursue until they exhaust! In a few weeks!

Postal voting was going to predominate due to covid-19. And the very reason why senior Trump support tried to sabotage the US mail in well publicised and validated reports. When the cat was belled there. Next came all those unfounded/sore loser claims of vote-rigging.

Even though Mr Trump got significant benefit from postal votes and allowed him to win with less than 78,000 crucial votes in the previous Presidential election. With the other candidate winning the popular vote. Perhaps he knows something we don't about postal votes?

I predict that most if not all the claimed legal remedies will fail, And any subsequent recount. And that Mike Pence will go AWOL. So he can't sully his own chances of a run at the highest office.

Leaving Mr Trump no other option to pardon himself? I don't whether or not he will need to nominate what crimes he's pardoning himself for? But if that is the case? Sure to be front and centre in all the headlines/evening news!

I'm not sure, but I think some of those pardonable crimes may be outside his purview? Such as obstruction of justice/witness tampering during his impeachment? In any event, his base will be wide-eyed and wide-mouthed at how easily they were fooled?

And given I'm on the money, may see Mr Trump rushin to leave the country within days of the inauguration, to one with no extradition treaty with the US. Singing as he departs, I want to be a Moscow man, a Moscow man etc? You get the picture.

The integrity of postal votes was always in question, not least given the mouthing of PA's AG a Mr Shapiro who soon after the polls closed proudly broadcast that the "postal votes will favour Biden overwhelmingly".

How did he know?
Did he see the votes before they were officially counted (and counted in the absence of GOP scrutineers)? Or did he and his comrades from the DNC dump a whole lot of "votes" that favoured The Squad's puppet, when they saw that the so-called "blue wave" was really a "red wave"?

I would not be surprised if at the end of the count, Biden will be congratulated as the winner by the current POTUS, but a winner with 270 votes, that is all he now has less PA.

Not quite the landslide the lamestream media told us to expect.

> The yoyo swings from Trump to Biden, Biden to Trump on a daily basis
Huh?
It yoyoed a bit in the first few hours of the count, but after that it became pretty clear that states were swinging towards Biden (except in Arizona where it swung back towards Trump but Biden's lead turned out to be unassailable).
If there's a yoyo, it's broken - however much Trump tries to insist it's still working!

> It's time we stood up to the false claims of civil libertarians and political operatives who
>resist the modernised digital world where dual verification of identity is mandatory,

Rather than blind labelling the claims to be false, it's better to investigate the issues and see how they can be addressed. Not everyone has ID, and the poor are least likely to have it. That problem MUST be solved BEFORE more stringent ID requirements are implemented. But is implementation really worth it? I've previously voted n Australian elections without having to show ID. Of course here compulsory voting cuts the opportunities for fraud, but the high turnout in this years US election probably had a similar effect.

Jonathan J. Ariel,
> How did he know?
Because Biden urged his supporters to cast postal votes, whereas Trump urged his supporters to vote on election day.

It's always a treat to have some lively correspondence from Earth B, the alternate planet that is nearly but not quite the same as ours.

I do agree with just one idea here, that Biden "exploited COVID-19 to win a US 2020 election race".

But I'd say, that Trump exploited COVID-19, to lose the race. He would have won easily, if only he hadn't behaved like a toddler, who kept missing his nap. Biden was never a candidate to take America's breath away.

Democrats are the greatest exploiters of race, poverty, ware and climate change cultism all around the world. Trump is the first one to call out all the gravy-boat,----now a massive gravy swamp, that they wallow in.
