Queensland has been very watered down by southern migrants who imported the mentality we are experiencing up here now !

The LNP had five and a half years to formulate decent policy. At the end of the day what did they come up with? A couple of pie in the sky grandiose schemes, which were never going to fly, as Queensland suffers the effects of the Morrison recession. The un-costed big budget lies, were used to fool pre-poll voters, but at the eleventh hour they dropped them like a hot potato, given the Morrison recession they realised there was a slight cash flow problem. In desperation Deb Whatshername went for the good old vote buy, with a $300 cash splash for people in cars, bugger everyone else! What else was "policy", yes smack the kids in Townsville, lock'em up, throw away the key, Old Joh lives on in the LNP, no policy to tackle the root causes of kids on the streets, no sir re, just lock'ém up, unfortunately for the LNP the voters didn't buy it. The only other "policy" to counter Labor's strong coronavirus stance was open the boarders and let it rip! Well, that policy might have help sell a few coffees in Coolangatta but did nothing for the safety of Queenslanders in general.

How can an opposition spend two terms out in the cold, and then lose seats at a third election. Having no policy might have something to do with it.

BTW; Indy, you are sounding more and more like Old Joh everyday!

BBTW; Alan B, please don't mention the name of 'Hardboiled' Newman around Queenslanders at election time, he is an LNP nightmare for voters. Mention that great LNP leader, Premier Jesus, the LNP could sure use a couple of Jesus miracles to get em' out of the you know what in the next four years.

“There is a third party in Queensland and it's the only party that understands the urgency of transitioning away from carbon-emitting fossil fuel-dependency and availing ourselves of the advantages and opportunities of an economy based on renewable sources of power."

Typical claptrap based on Green ideology.

Raycom,
That would be great if it were actually available in the quantity that the average consumer demands but only gets from the present supplies of fossil fuel.
