They view Israel as a regional nuclear power that can face off against Iran, their common enemy, which will serve their mutual national security interests.

Publication of an Israel-UAE peace deal over the last 2 weeks may be testing the waters for publication of an eventual Israel-Saudi deal. Israel and the Saudis indeed have a common enemy/fear, which is a nuclear armed Iran.

Israel and Saudi Arabian politicians and intelligence have had a dialogue for decades via Jordanian intelligence (acting as messenger) mainly discussing Iran and terrorism.

This agreement has almost certainly resulted from pressure on behalf of Zionist and hegemonic interests from the United States rather than on initiative from the UAE. Had better watch out they do not get "stabbed in the back" by Zionists who they think have become friends. Note the all time classic in this respect by what amounts to the Criminal Apartheid Zionist Settler State in Occupied Palestine. The state of Israel long has received enormous support from the US, to which it largely owes its continued existence. Yet in the middle of the Six Day War in 1967, Israel attacked an unarmed US military surveillance ship near the coast of Egypt. Obviously hoping to quickly sink it killing all on board while falsely blaming Egypt. After this did not succeed and was discovered, the Israeli government tried to claim this attack was a mistake and the US government hushed up the story. At least now it is getting exposed thanks to "alternative " news sources and recent release of classified documents.

Re the beatup about supposed aggressive actions of Iran, remember that it has not invaded anyone within the last couple of hundred years. Iran's actions are basically defensive, firstly to try and keep the US out since Iranians deposed their US sponsored dictator, the Shah in 1983. Meanwhile, note the long term Zionist dream of creating a Jewish state of "Greater Israel. Also, how often they try to get others to do their "dirty work to try and achieve this.

More Arabs have been killed by other Arabs than by all other races put together. The UAE has simply sided with the only democracy in the region for protection.
