I dont know if it is ever smart to stay neutral. It is a form of bahaviour i cannot even contemplate, but that may reflect my personality.

So should Australia, and every other democratic country.

As far as leaving the UN, I do think many will leave if the CCP becomes more obstuctionist, which is very likely given it hates the influence of liberalism, at least when it does not benefit China.

The United Nations is just a club for countries run by thugs.

The great and noble intentions of the formation of the UN, have been totally castergated by the realities that the whole enterprise is politically motivated.

Wherever there is a politician, there also is a dogs breakfast of contempt, greed and false pretences.

Sad that is, for the majority that are us: That is, the majority that suffer the consequences of deceit with sacrificial blood, in wars that should be avoided.
