I remember once when doing my paper round, many moons ago, I was basically held hostage for 4-5 hours by some of local young thugs in Melbourne's Preston suburb.

I actually feared I was going to be bashed for no reason, albeit they were southern Europeans like me, but managed to provide enough charm that eventually led to their gracious decision to set me free with no bruising.

I would personally like to give my most heartfelt appreciation for the "cancel culture" morons now pulling down statues of George Washington and Ulysses S. Grant int eh USA, and defacing statues of captain Cook in the UK and Australia. Because they are ensuring the re election of Donald Trump for the presidency of the Divided States of America..
