Erdogan IS a ruthless dictator, But we have so many in this world. And we support them.... Hitler was perhaps the worst, and yet he had the support of the German people. There have been many others ,all of whom have or had support. Enver Hoxa in Albania.. Fattah El Sisi in Egypt.. Kim Il-sung in Korea, and his son- Kim il Jung . Marcus Tullius Cicero was the first to notice this odd human attribute, 2000 years ago .. It has been reinforced by academic research and by observations over history. Cicero gave several reasons.Bribery, fear, hope to succeed further by those who support him. Why cannot the United Nations intervene? The Blue Helmets will come in and throw out any dictator who stays in more than two terms - 8 years say.
