No, it looks like very specific criticism of America. Not all predominantly white nations have a guy named Donald Trump as their president. Not all predominantly white nations have a place called Hollywood where they make superhero movies, or a state called Michigan. Not all predominantly white nations had a revolution against the British in 1775. Not all predominantly white nations have created a superhero with the rather telling name of 'Captain America'.

In fact, if you pay attention to all the little clues that the author has written into the article and then, as Mr. Holmes suggests, start by eliminating the impossible then eventually you will be left with the inescapable conclusion that she could only be talking about the US. And since most of the western world is NOT America, interpreting highly specific criticism of America as criticism of the Western world is unsound reasoning

In truth the US is a disgusting country that uses any means necessary including terrorism to achieve it's goals, and survives only from the lifeblood of other nations.

So when did the Chinese start welding up the doors to apartment buildings, and shutting down the city of Wuhan and the province of Hubei ? Late January ? Wasn't that a clue that something was going wrong in Wuhan ? Didn't that ring warning bells in most of our minds ?

No, we didn't know that it might spread as quickly all over the world, even though the Chinese had tried to shut it down ASAP, but we suspected that something big and bad was about to happen. If the Chinese knew, so did we pretty soon after. And so did the US authorities.

So Trump can't really claim that 'he didn't know'. Of course he did, we all did, it was just that he didn't believe it would spread or that, if it did, there was anything we needed to do about it. Let it rip, it's just another flu, he said. It would soon go away.

Anyway, let's go for herd immunity, he said. And is still saying in a back-handed way, still ignoring the need to really shut down, test and treat, isolate areas until they are clear, identify cases and carriers. So the REAL curve is still to come in the US.

Well, Trump's 'solution' hasn't happened: 1.5 million cases in the US, nearly 100,000 deaths, and it still rolls on. How many of those actual, real, deaths can be attributed to Trump and his non-medical 'experts' ?

At the same time that President Trump was saying that the Wuhan virus was no big deal, Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Democrat governor of New York were encouraging New Yorkers to attend a Chinese new Year festival in New York. Boris Johnson was running around shaking hands with everyone and saying it was no big deal, until he got a dose of it himself and nearly died. Scott Morrison was telling Australians we could still go to the footy and the cricket, and the left wing mayor of Turin was encouraging Lombards to hug a Chinese to show how non racist the Italian residents of Lombardy are. And he is correct. Lombards are not racist, because thousands of those Lombardian Chinese huggers are now dead.

Every western leader of both the right and the left got it wrong but who cares about that if the fake news journos you apparently support can blame it all on Trump?

Donald Trump is not virologist and he is dependent upon the advice from his medical experts, so if anybody got it wrong, blame them. Sweden and Britain tried "herd immunity" and they got thousands of dead. Britain chickened out of herd immunity but Sweden is still going for it. But it is only after this Chinese "Communist" Party inflicted plague on the world is over that anybody will be able to deduce which method of controlling it is the better one. Maybe the Swedes are right? (for once)

For your information, it was the evil USA which was funding the Chinese "bat woman" in her research on bat coronaviruses, because the USA you apparently hate is really concerned about world health. The US withdrew funding when it realised that the Wuhan lab was sub standard. The US Centre for Disease Control and the French Pasteur Institute are the world leaders in this field and they have saved the lives of tens of millions. For all of it's money, China has nothing like them. China spends it's money building islands, bribing WHO officials and "Australian" politicians, and bullying people.
