I don't think it was a personal attack, a personal attack is when you deliberately insult someone without providing evidence when examination. In this case, the typo on the author's name (twice) is very evident.

And regarding your views, Trump has clearly mishandled the crisis. Unlike other world leaders who have enforced lockdowns and quarantines and economic support packages to citizens, Trump hasn't done anything to support everyday Americans but blames others for his mistakes and incompetency. Trump has successfully scared Americans into thinking that someone is out there to "get them". A very typical American government policy.

As the wealthiest nation on the planet, it's mind-boggling to fathom that it has become the epicentre of the pandemic. The US government happily sent a bail package to rescue the banks who caused the 2007/8 global financial crisis. But they haven't readily given financial support to ordinary Americans

It seems strange that a Taiwanese female journalist would stoop to sneering at President Trump over his handling of the Wuhan virus. Especially since it is probably only the existence of Trump and the unmatched US Armed forces that prevent the formerly communist (but now firmly fascist) mainland Chinese from invading the Taiwan. However, if all Taiwanese think like Hsi Yo-Lo, then as far as I am concerned, the Chinese can have them all.

But I suppose Taiwan has left leaning journalists also who hanker for a left wing totalitarian society to keep the proles under control, just like in the west. But somewhere they have forgotten, that China is no longer a left wing dictatorship, it is a right wing dictatorship. With over 100 Chine billionaires members of the Chinese "Communist" Party, anyone who thinks that the CCP is the party of the working class, has rocks for brains.
