If you were at Maroubra or Tamarama on a hot day, wouldn't you want to jump in?

Waverley,
Not me, I'm too used to a cleaner environment with the nearest swimmer 10 miles away !

Waverley,
Come to think of it, with so many people in the water, one small area such as Bondi & Maroubra must surely be a fertile environment for some future virus

Bondi Beach can get crowded- on the sand.

Most people just have a dip in the water on most days.

I'm not sure how this virus survives in sea water. Some have swum in the sea for 40 or 50 years and seem pretty healthy.

The literature on ageing urges people over 50 to get off their butt and get moving. Do you, fellow commenters?

Well the Chinese make things that last well and go the distance....
the virus being a good example.

Oh- and the Chinese are snapping at anyone who wants an independent enquiry.
Not sure if Scomo has provoked them a bit clumsily- or whether they are just ultra touchy....perhaps even bullying people into agreement?
