How Malaysia’s political coup failed : Comments

A plan to realign Malaysia’s political structure along racial lines to cement ethnic Malays as the country’s ruling force appears to have floundered because its architect, Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, backed away.

This extremely authoritarian autocrat has done this before and that resulted in the riots and a nation a pariah in the world.

It's good that this tired, old, elected Dictator? Has failed to succeed this time and is an apparently demented old man facing divine justice for what he has done or has responsibility for?

I wouldn't want to be in his shoes when that day dawns! Tomorrow, the day after?
