By David Singer, published 21/1/2020

The Democrats irresponsible - and sometimes hostile - response to Trump's decisive action will cost them votes at the next elections.

Wise up, the guy was a terrorist, even Obama had him on the hit list. Get over your myopic hatred of Trump. Be glad the mongrel and hopefully more like him (across the world) who !the dark evil art of terrorism die sooner rather than an later.

Seems many people including those commenting above should be aware of and keep an eye on sources that provide news and views other than those publicising what the US government and some other western interests want believed. Much of the most scathing criticism comes from well informed commentators from within the US. Including ones who formerly held senior government or military positions. Important to note that among the worst warmongers trying to keep tensions high and orders to keep coming in for the military industrial complex have been draft dodgers - including Trump - who has obviously been pushed by others and John Bolton. Meanwhile at the other end of the scale is congressional rep from Hawaii Tulsi Gabbard, who is currently standing for President. Hopefully will be successful in future. She has experienced first hand the horrors and futility of the US Middle East wars from two tours of duty as a medic in Iraq with the Hawaiian National Guard.

Note the US has invaded many largely defenceless countries on numerous pretexts while Persia /Iran has not invaded anyone for over 200 years. Have fought invaders though and been helping others do the same. Including assisting Syrians get rid of terrorists fighting a proxy war against its democratically elected government on behalf of western interests - particularly the US, who could not gain enough domestic support to send their own large scale invasion force.

Now look at Afghanistan The US and allies have got virtually nowhere defeating the Taliban in nearly 20 years. In Iraq, where they have long been causing destruction, their recent assassination of General Soleimani and a senior Iraqi military leader has given Iraqis added incentive to try and kick Yanks out and also support Iran. The US warmongers need to note that Iran is a much bigger country with a population of around 80 million. Virtually impossible for them to subdue by force. The recent limited retaliation by Iran demonstrated what they could quickly launch against all the US military installations nearby and Israel if there was a large scale attempted attack against them

At the time the Iranian General was killed he was NOT a citizen of the USA, he was NOT subject to USA law and he was NOT on US territory. He had not been convicted of any crime in a court having jurisdiction over him - in fact he had NOT been arrested NOR had he been charged with any offence.
Iran has a longer memory than the USA: at some point in the near future action will be taken against the US. The west will call this terrorism while Iran will call it payback.
Donald Trump's unilateral action, while under trial for impeachment, have set the elusive search for midddle-east peace back by decades. In whatever thinking matter he has he will see his actions as entirely justified. The survivors of the war he has just brought closer will disagree with him.

Those who criticised Trumps (anyone's) killing of this monster must be on substance abuse course.

I fear they either only do this to exercise their right to hate Trump (Clinton or Obama had done it, I suspect they would cheer)... or the believe terrorism national or international is a fair behaviour.

Bet none of them have had friends/family abused by terrorists!! Anyway, their braincells belong on Mars or Uranus!

To those who have kept an eye on what has been going on in the Middle East an alternative news sites, it is very obvious that terrorists have been sponsored and helped at times by the west- largely the US to fight proxy war on their behalf. Then sometimes they pretend to fight them as pretexts for sending their forces into areas and sometimes have to genuinely fight the monsters they partly sponsored. eg Look at all the times in Syria when US and Israeli made weapons and equipment have been captured by Syrians from terrorists.
