By Mal Fletcher, published 16/12/2019

Big wins, of course, carry with them huge responsibilities and questions going forward. For Prime Minister Johnson and his cabinet, three questions should be uppermost in their minds.

Boris Johnson will know what needs to be done without the help of Plato or Mal Fletcher. Then British people have, for the second time in three years, clearly indicated what they want.

His three big priorities: Brexit, Brexit and Brexit.

Nothing legally blocking him from doing a Brexit without a deal but what about its future political consequences? Could this lead to the unravelling of the UK?

I think Brexit itself and the stance taken against the UK by the EU will open another page in the continual unfolding of Europe to the detriment of the Continent.

Lets hope Boris goes with a no deal Brexit, or a renegotiated deal, for the poms sake. He was making far too many concessions to the EU to try to get some sort of deal previously.
