tell lies often enough and people believe its truth. Evolution is probably best example. Its sister man made gw is a close second. One day some of the swamp might become rational and look to their Creator for a few answers. So many lies or half truths in this article one would nt know where to start. Problem is sprouting this nonsense helps you climb the swamp ladder.

Neuroticism V neurosis

Neurosis
Carl Jung was a Swiss psychiatrist who believed that a neurosis was a clash of conscious and unconscious events in the mind.

Yep fits!

neurosis is a disorder involving obsessive thoughts.

Yep, fits!

Neuroticism:

People with neuroticism may see everyday situations as menacing and major!

Yep, jigsaw complete!

Cont. We have the option here, now of accepting the role of the world's safest repository of mountainous nuclear waste and a paid-for service that earns annual billions!

But, before we bury back into the land where it came from, process it to extract the 98+% of potential energy still locked within!

A conventional 350MW reactor will require during a 30-year operational lifetime some 2551 tons of, as rare as platinum, enriched at further great cost, uranium fuel.

Producing over that period, some 2550 tons of mostly unspent fuel/nuclear waste.

This nuclear waste can be, very safely burned in MSR's where e.g., one ton of this same waste would power a 50 MW MSR for north of 25 years! Or if you will, dozens for multiple centuries for lees PKWH than the price of a cup of coffee1

Remember all the options I've suggested thus far are carbon-free, with MSR technology far and away cheapest of all and nuclear power has a better record for fewer fatalities per Gigawatt of power generated than even renewables. See Alan Goulding Facebook page and a couple of evidential confirming videos replete with comparative graphs.

So given this is so! Exposes the scam that is the science ignorant, anti-nuclear brigade's activism!?

To those imbeciles advocating enforced abstinence as birth control, I can report the only sure and proven method of population reduction control has been solely on the back of improved economies and the inclusion of females in an egalitarian education system!

The how-to, is only available with the distribution of affordable energy and potable water. They like economic miracles o the recent past, often have a trainable workforce and materials?

That then is the starting point and is advanced by the preferred implementation of cooperative capitalism and social credit as the universal funding!.

Therefore enabled to be part of a self help solution, rather than as now, part of the population explosion problem. And consequently, allows the local populace to become integral to the solution.

Which is only ever economic!

With the implementation of Keynesian economics, we went through a post-war period of unprecedented economic prosperity, squandered since by ideologically driven and visionless troglodytes on the far right!

Understand just this much!

Co-ops (cooperative capitalism) were the only private enterprise, free-market business model to survive the great depression largely intact and part of the economic paradigm that allowed us to become the third wealthiest nation on earth and a creditor one at that.

Some folk refuse to ever learn the lessons of history. Keep trying the same fatally flawed solutions while expecting a different result!

And as always, reward themselves first and foremost with much larger slices of a shrinking economic pie!

ttbn,
Seeing solutions does NOT depend on ignorance of the issues.

Renewable energy really is cheaper than fossil fuels for electricity generation. It shouldn't be too hard to comprehend; the latter option has ongoing fuel costs; the former doesn't.

And from what do you infer Marxism? That's not expressed or even implied in the article.
I suggest you read it more carefully.

Alan B.,
The best way to get rid of nuclear weapons is to get rid of the need for them. Their physical destruction is trivial, and doesn't require MSR; conventional reactors will do.

Burning methane still produces CO2. And converting electricity to chemical energy, pumping it along pipes, and converting it back to electricity near the point of use is far less efficient than keeping it as electricity.

runner,
No matter how often you tell lies about evolution, nobody's going to believe you. But I'm a bit puzzled as to why you're so seduced by those lies. I get that you treat the Book of Genesis as an eyewitness account, but why do you think God micromanages the climate rather than leaving it to the laws of physics?

Yes Alan B.

As Yabbot once said - a nuclear Suppository might resolve overpopulation

in a FLASH.
