By John Avery, published 10/12/2019

We owe it to our children to take urgent action to prevent these threats from becoming future realities.

It is hard to see how someone so sure about 'catastrophe', climate change and nuclear war could picture any future at all for our children, let alone our grandchildren and great grandchildren. It's also hard to believe that he thinks that grandparents and great grandparents have any influence; we are just a bloody nuisance. Anyway, his 'famine' will probably knock us off first.

What a misery guts!

Same old tune on 'action' on climate change; same old lie about renewable energy being "cheaper than fossil fuels". It's the loss of cheap energy that could bring about the famine he sees coming if we don't go along with mad Marxism.

"Rid the world of nuclear weapons". Tell North Korea and the CCP, sport. Although, a big bang might be the way out of the misery John Avery threatens us with if we don't go along with his absurd catastropharian mumbo-jumbo.

I couldn't read any further. What a miserable load of claptrap to be greeted with early in the day.

Those advocating a better future for their children should instil the value of birth control in them ! After all, it's the insane number of humans that causes every single problem we face these days.

«We give our children loving care»

Your very first statement is wrong, mister author.
By bringing them to this world at this time, all you give your children, grandchildren and future generations, is misery!

What you owed these poor souls, is to delay their earthly round and not give them a body in times of population-explosion like now. Like in deep sleep, disembodied souls do not feel the passage of time, so why could they not wait some 1,000 or 10,000 years until conditions on earth become better before taking up a new human body?

Stop hiding behind "loving care": now you cry and squirm helplessly with your feeble attempts to avert the inevitable, but the only reason for these "Our children" to be here and subject to the issues you mentioned, is your lack of control over your genitals and sexual passions!

We must stop listening to activists and their ill-informed erroneous advice. Make one want to click heels and give a stiff-arm salute.

We face the possibility of a disastrous nuclear war?

Possible but only if we allow nut jobs to rule, who believe they can get their own insane agendas imposed with ever ramped up threats?

Standing their way are saner generals who would be required to implement any Mutually assured self-destruction.

All the major power have nuclear-powered subs positioned within striking distance of their perceived adversaries, with enough deliverable nuclear weapon on board to reply with enough crippling force to ensure there can be no winner.

So a nuclear war remains hypothetical!

Whereas climate change is real and needs to be addressed ASAP!

Democracies can achieve this at the ballot box and via sanely led industry/business. And increasingly punitive carbon tariffs will oblige the totalitarian states to follow suit!

Clearly, this author is another ignorant anti-nuclear activist?

Claims erroneously that renewables are our cheapest carbon-free option.

They are not! TBC.

Until such time as ALL nations cooperate and implement a plan to reduce and stabilise the out of control world population of Homo Sapiens, the most destructive animal species ever, we are futiley wasting our time.
If we don`t Pachamama will.

Cont. If we would rid the world of nuclear weapons!? The best way to achieve that incredibly remote possibility is via the burning of weapons-grade nuclear fuel in MSR's

And given we did that? May prevent mutually assured self-destruction as well as provide enough ultra cheap power to reverse poverty wherever it exists.

And can not be left to immoral leaders serving the vested mindless interests of multinational corporations but rather via deliberately preferred and prospered cooperative capitalism! The economic enemy of both big business and the union movement alike, given it, sidelines both and rues them out of a vastly more egalitarian and abundant future.

And a future which cannot rule out this or tha carbon-free energy paradigm on spurious political activism grounds/ or personal vested economic interests.

I mean I could if given my druthers, power this nation with thermal coal and while simultaneously eliminating carbon emissions from the mix!

Requires a very different mindset and a cleanout of the conflicted and troglodytes in governments.

Then using a combination of cooperative capitalism and social credit replace aging power station with solar thermal projects that are tasked with cooking washed thermal coal with flameless heat

So, there's no boilers no pressure and no super huge turbines roaring like a dozen 747's taking off!

Just cooked, scrubbed and stored (reductant) methane gas fed into a national gas grid that can utilize existing energy corridors and the metal in the current transmission lines progressively smelted to make the new 24/7 pipeline?

And this free of current transmission and distribution losses, energy delivered to the client's on-site ceramic fuel cell(s) Where the exhaust product would be mostly pristine water vapour!

Graphene cored cables carrying it to our future graphene highway that charge electric vehicles on the go. And monitored for billing requirements via current toll road technology! TBC.
