Charter for conservatism: the ALP campaign review : Comments

Having Shorten as leader was a handicap. Six years which had included seeing off two prime ministers had taken a toll on popularity.

I cant believe it took 6 months for Labor to find the bleeding obvious,

1) It had a very unpopular leader
2) it scared retirees on tax
3) it could not/ would not explain what it was going to do with all that extra tax
4) it could not/would not explain who was the big end of town (so naturally anyone earning over a $100k was scared)

Unless you where a die hard labor voter, all the rest of Australia heard from Bill shorten was TAX, TAX, TAX and envy on anyone earning a quid.

Even primary school children will tell you, if you want to win be nice to people, if you want enemies, insult them, confuse them and bully them

That's what Bill Shorten did.

Both political parties currently present as a "broad church" and therein lies a difficulty for both sides. Next time around there will be a new young cohort, probably more in the centre pushing action on climate change who will determine who is the victor.

If I am a member of the ALP, as former communist party member, Hasbeen states, then he hasbeen is a clearly senile moribund old fool and can't'/won't grasp that what I've been advocating won't harm our economy but rather massively boost and turbocharge it!

He, hasbeen, pillories anyone who suggests we use less and export less thermal coal even where those are more than replaced by far better more profitable alternatives! And just has to be a commie stooge for some foreign-owned, coal company?

And like all of his ilk, cares naught about the fires and the toll they are taking on other folk and other folk's property! Get lost you uncaring, I'm all right Jack, old commie so and so. if you continue to both verbal and falsely label Hasbeen, you'll find I can give a lot better than I take!

International Socialism is Anti-Patriotic by definition.

National Socialism is Patriotic by definition.

These ideologies are diametrically opposed.

Lie-Bore needs to choose one ideology & stick with it. The people will no longer accept the broad church approach.

"The people will no longer accept the broad church approach."
Therein lies the problem for both political parties.
