You're clearly preaching to the converted, David.

Simply put, a President may not, repeat, may not use the trappings of office to gain a political outcome over a rival!

Ought not be able to use financial blackmail to achieve said outcome!

Spin it as much as you like, David and one thing will always stay the same!

You can fool some of the people all the time.

You can fool all the people some of the time.

But you can't fool all of the people all of the time!

Hate to say it, but its quite a list http://www.whitehouse.gov/trump-administration-accomplishments/

Looking at the US November 2020 Presidential Election betting, the odds give Trump a healthy lead over all Democrats. see http://www.sportsbet.com.au/betting/politics/us-politics/us-presidential-election-2020-2982545

In that betting link above the Democrat with the best odds is one "Elizabeth Warren". Don't know whether the average US voter has heard of her.

The US electorate are so conservative that in over 200 years no women has been elected President. They did elect one Catholic so far though and also one person who is half black.

plantagenet,
Though Trump has the shortest odds of any single candidate, they're still longer than even, indicating the bookies think that Trump won't be the next president.

And of all the other Republicans they've listed, Pence has the shortest odds at 41. That's longer than Hilary Clinton (at 31) and she's not even running!

These Democrats should change their name, because they don't believe in democracy. Three years now, and they still can't accept that a Republican, not a socialist, was elected by due process.

The lying liberal media in bed with the Democrats can't talk about the number of blacks in work, the economy, energy costs and the complete embarassment of wrong reports for 3 years. Made up race crimes led by Jussie Smollet, hiding Epsteins crimes due to his links to Clintons, covering Warren's non Indian hertitage and the list goes on and on. Thankfully more and more are waking up to the swamp and how muddy and deep it is. Just ask Brett Kavannaugh.

Remember that had the Democrats endorsed Bernie Sanders as their presidential candidate, he would have easily beaten Trump in the final vote for President. Worth noting that he was apparently the only Presidential candidate who was Jewish and also the only one who did not grovel to the powerful Zionist Israel lobby. However, too many people in the Democrat Party allowed enough corruption for a party hack that was obviously highly toxic to win. ie What I have seen described as Killary Rotten Clinscum. An example of a somewhat similar process happened in our Federal electorate of Murray in the 1990's. The National Party endorsed a dud party hack as candidate instead of their obvious best choice who would have easily won the seat. Result was disaffected party members cranked up a Liberal Party branch and found a good candidate to run. Meanwhile throughout the campaign another apparently independent group kept up a steady stream of dirt on the dud Nats hack, who lost the election after winning endorsement A self defeating exercise, like that of Hillary Clinton.

Meanwhile Trump promised to "Drain the Swamp". Has to be very careful in ways he goes about it and how fast though, otherwise is likely to have more than impeachment attempts against him. ie Assassinated like JFK, who opposed the US going to war in Vietnam and started dismantling the effectively privately controlled racket in charge of finances in the since 1913, the Federal Reserve. These policies were immediately reversed when Vice President Lyndon Johnson took over. Then soon after the alleged assassin "lone nut gunman" was also shot and killed to reduce likelihood of the truth being widely exposed. At least under Trump, paedophile activities by people in high places look like being greatly reduced. Also, Trump seems to have been often to some extent effectively promoting peace while "preaching" war, probably largely to keep the "Deep State" military industrial complex and Israel lobbies happy. HIs predecessor Obama was largely the opposite. Warmongering while preaching peace.

Well again...Obama is a homosexual, his wife (sic) is a transvestite, and their kids are adopted.
The Clintons are pedophiles and thieves.

Three cheers for Donald Trump.

Trump: "I caught the swamp. I caught them all. Let's see what happens. Nobody else could have done that but me."

AC

Could that be the reason democracy is dead?

Turn Trump into a criminal, what a stroke of genius! More like a stroke of desperation.

Uncle Don just rolls on unfazed. Ya just gotta love the man!

Mox,

Remember that both Hillary and Bernie were supposed to be able to beat Trump by double digits.

The fact remains that unless the Democrats can get 67% of the senate, Trump stays.

I burst out laughing at Mox's claim that Bernie Sanders would have beaten Trump.

Trump beat 19 Republican candadates for nominee, and he was the only one who the republicans refused to endorse. When he beat them all, they and the pollsters all agreed then claimed that he could not possibly beat Clinton.

After beating Clinton, we had the a series of preposterous claims of Trump being a Russian agent, and other such incredible nonsense. Why don't you lefties just admit that you have lost the working class and the lower middle class? You spent all your time demonising these two classes and talking down to them, and then you wonder why they voted against your elitist candidates?

Clinton's "Deplorables" quip was her undoing. It will go down in history of what not to say if you want to win an election.

The only policy the Dems have is "We hate Trump, we hate Trump, we hate Trump". Trump will win in 2020 because the Dems have lost it completely. Their candidates now appeal only to the lunatic fringe, and those who want the State to give them everything for free. The last Democratic conference was more interested in gender specific pronouns than anything that would appeal to voters.

I can't wait to see the ABC news after Trumnp wins again. They will look even more miserable than when Scomo won.

It is exactly as the Chinese say. "Third generation no good." Young people today are more concerned with virtue signaling than looking at real issues that will affect their countries stability and prosperity. That comes from living in prosperity for a couple of generations, and just taking prosperity for granted

"Former US president Barack Obama has warned the Democratic field of White House hopefuls not to veer too far to the left, a move he said would alienate many who would otherwise be open to voting for the party's nominee next year.

Though Mr Obama did not mention anyone by name, the message delivered before a room of Democratic donors in Washington was a clear word of caution about the candidacies of Senators Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders.

The two have called for massive structural changes — and in Sanders's case a "revolution" — that would dramatically alter the role of the government in people's lives.

The centrist wing of the party has warned for months that a far-left nominee could alienate the moderate Republicans and independent voters needed to oust President Donald Trump....”
