Sigh, it goes on and on. It seems that this has been the permanent
story ever since the Arabs came up out of Arabia and invaded Mesopotamia.

I think the world has just grown tied of the fighting there over the
last 1400 years or so. For years we hear how the crusaders went into
the ME and were blamed for all that when the origin of that movement
was to push the Arabs back out of the Levant. When a war starts who
knows how it will be conducted and what can be done about it.
The Moors invaded Spain and France and held Spain for 700 years.
The Ottomans invaded Europe and held parts of Europe for hundreds of
years until thrown out in 1918. They still claim Greece and Cyprus.

Yet, it is still hoped that Europe will rescue the Yazadis and Kurds.
Of course for Europe read all of the rest.
Europe is itself under attack but doesn't know it.

Yet some wonder why those outside the area just go "Oh Dear not again"!

The Yazidi are fortunate that now we have a "true Christian" in the white house as President and a deeply moral," born again Christian" in Australia's parliament.

And because these men who can quote the bible backwards and from cover to cover, Present for the world to see and judge, as avowed Christians, who will reach out to these folk and allow them to migrate here, particularly those women with their babies who were the victims of ISIS rape!

There're plenty of places for these women, in aged/childcare etc. Where they can get to a safe haven as well as contribute to the government saving money in a win-win outcome for the recipient elder/working mum/sponsor and the migrating carer.

They will need some basic English and instruction about culturally appropriate care for their host elder/sponsor. And essentially for a roof and adequate nutrition? Part pension and carer's allowance. Like some renowned french Au pairs!? Yes?

Where they are now, they're a wasted resource! Time to take the blinkers off and just do it. Yes, Minister Dutton, I get that they are not white! But just as deserving, if not more so than a couple of french au pairs?

What's that noise? Crickey, you mean you actually do have a beating hear Mr President/Minister!?
