From the rebel's perspective, the Attorney General, ultra right-wing members of Congress, former president Álvaro Uribe Vélez and current president Iván Duque Márquez are to blame for the failure of the peace agreement.

Well given the list of breaches and trust and the killings? Who can blame folk with nothing else to lose taking up arms again against an oppressive, South American, corrupt regime? This is not a good outcome and cannot be settled with more bloodshed, etc!

And as always in these type of conflicts, there are never ever any winners!
